These monsters come dressed in collars and lapels, evoking the office horror story of politics and big business. Drawn in blue ballpoint as if sketched during a meeting, these official-looking ogres and cyclops leer from the page, eyes veiny or pupil-less, teeth sharp and tusk-like or small and multiple, tentacled or long-necked or befinned, their skin bearing the suggestion of moistness. These drawings represent those who distort the world through the convulsions of late-stage capitalism, depicted here as distorted themselves, their monsterhood barely concealed by the trappings of officialdom.
