Leaked 7 3500X3500

Mass disclosures of confidential data such as those facilitated by Wikileaks or the hacking of Democratic campaigner John Podesta’s emails have been the cause of all manner of political scandal and conspiratorial speculation in recent years. In Podesta’s case the hack spawned the Pizzagate conspiracy, which alleged that food-related terms were code for child pornography and sex trafficking among government elites. Such leaks are also, it turns out, an unlikely source of tasty recipes. To create The Leaked Recipes Cookbook, Demetria Glace trawled popular leaks from the past 15 years for culinary-related intel (“from inbox to plate”), highlighting the banal tedium of office culture rather than a global network of power and influence. Glace’s impressive haul includes a “Death By Chocolate” dessert for a church gourmet party (“The recipe should perhaps not be given to a single male as it requires a springform pan.”), a stolen hummus recipe (“Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone of your crimes.”) and Hilary Clinton’s secret salad dressing. ◉
